Match DescriptionRoger Federer is going on 36 years of age. And he is still one of the best tennis players on the tour. I think that he has very good chances of winning the Australian Open again. Having sat much of 2016 he has recovered from injury and is looking to end his career with a bang. This is possibly his last season on the tour as he wouldn't be still on it if he didn't feel that he can win the big tournaments. Novak Djokovic is not in best form. Andy Murray is at his peak right now and is playing excellent tennis. Nadal is not a force to be reckoned with on hard surface any more. When the clay season starts he will be the favourite to win most of the tournaments he enters but on hard not so much. Tsonga, Berdych, even the up and comers like Raonic and Nishikori have a mental note when playing against him. Wawrinka has a chip on his shoulder when playing Roger not least because of the way Mirka has treated him during their matches. All in all, I think Federer is fit and I think that will key if he is going to be capable of producing his magic on the court. I think he can win in Melbourne this year.
